August 2018

Dear Parents (and Students),

My name is Stephanie Chou and I will be your child’s 6th grade teacher this year. I am excited to spend this very precious last year of elementary school with them.

I recently moved to Fremont from southern California. I went to the University of California in Irvine to earn my Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health Science and minor in Educational Studies. I received my teaching credential from the California State University, Fullerton and have been working at the elementary school level since. This will be my first full year at Warm Springs, as I joined the staff this past January. I believe that students not only need to develop global knowledge, technical skills, and a love for learning, but also a heart for people and a consciousness of the world around them.

6th grade is such a special time for students and I look forward to helping the students transition into middle school. We can work as a team to help our students succeed. I look forward to meeting your child on the first day of school, Wednesday August 29, and seeing you as well. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you and have a great week!
